What to Expect When You Worship with Us

A warm and sincere welcome

We desire to meet you and listen to your needs.

Detailed Biblical teaching

Our pastor teaches through the Bible verse-by-verse clearly explaining and applying the meaning of the text.

A strong emphasis on prayer

We are conscious of our dependence upon God for everything.  This is given expression through many opportunities for prayer.

Simple, Biblical worship

We do not attempt to put on an impressive show.  Instead, we emphasize the priesthood of every believer and the role each one of us has as a worshipper.

A Balance of Hymns & Praise Songs

We treasure and sing hymns and we do not adopt new music unless it is Biblically sound and suitable to corporate worship.

The Singing of Psalms

We sing the psalms because we treasure God’s word and the psalms are the part of His word given to be sung.  They are, after all, inspired songs.  Singing God’s word back to Him has been a part of Christian worship from earliest times (cf. Matt. 26:30; Acts 16:25; Eph. 5:19; Col. 3:16; Jas 5:13).  We sing for God and to God.

People who will care deeply about your children

Those in our church who teach children are committed to helping them grow in faith and understanding.  A safe and inviting nursery (ages 0-3) is provided for every Lord’s Day service and during Sunday School.
